Yeah yeah, I know, you want updates on the house and I will say it is done. We are moved in. It's a total mess right now so... Standby for pics once we get rid of (most of) the boxes.

I've read all this stuff online about refinishing or painting furniture with that shabby chic look to it so I thought is five it a try. The victim? An old end table that is the most butt ugly thing ever. Observe below...
I spent a few hours the other night sanding the little bastard to prep for primer. I've bought the supplies, now I just need to find the time to actually use the brush.
Oh and did I mention this thing fell apart while I was sanding it down? Hubby had to put it back together, but not before splitting the wood in a few places and having to put it back together yet again with liquid nails. I don't know how old this thing is but it definitely will benefit from a facelift.
